You may still send in your application and fee, even if you don't have all your credentials, and we will enter it into our database. However, Incomplete applications cannot be submitted for a decision. Once you have provided all of the required application credentials, then your application will be forwarded onto the Program you are applying for, and a decision will be rendered.

TOEFL Scores Cancelled After Admission
If registered students are notified, at any time, by ETS that their scores have been cancelled they must retake the exam and request ETS to submit the official score report to Mason using the institution code: 5827. ETS is also required to notify the institution of any score cancellations; when our school is notified, a hold will be immediately placed on the students’ records and remain until an official score is received. Students will not be permitted to register for subsequent semesters until the matter is resolved. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

This could create problems for students who are required to maintain F-1 status; therefore, it is extremely important to retake the exam as soon as possible. Students who are concerned they may fall out of status as a result of this situation should contact OIPS (703) 993-2970 to speak to an advisor. Students not able to make the minimum score required for admission may want to contact our English Language Institute at (703) 993-3642 or visit the ELI Website to discuss other options. Please note: Mason reserves the right to withdraw offers of admission if applicants fail to satisfy all requirements or it is determined that admission was obtained through the use of incomplete, falsified, altered, or embellished information. In the case of withdrawal of admission from a matriculated student, credit earned at Mason may be withheld.
