MS 3D5 Please be advised that during the height of the application processing and review period, because of the volume of documents received, items marked as outstanding may already have been received by this office, but yet posted to your record. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for your documents to be processed. You may check your application status and the receipt of any documents by visiting the PatriotWeb Application Status Website. Be sure to use your online ID and pin number when you created your application online OR use your GMU ID number and birth date as your pin (if you applied using a paper application). Questions regarding these forms can be directed to the Graduate Office of Admissions at itegadm@gmu.edu.
Please be aware that exceptions to Mason's academic policies are approved only under extraordinary circumstances. Anyone seeking such exceptions should do so promptly, providing any necessary written verification (from a doctor, advisor, or professor, for instance). Most of these processes begin with instructors and department chairs before the requests are filed with the deans.
