Now interviewing for the HPTi Fall 2009 Co-op Program
The purpose of the Fall Co-Op program is to engage students in real-world work experience as an application developer. Working with an experienced mentor/Project Manager, students will design, create, and implement customer custom software solutions, and will participate with HPTi’s current CMMI Level 4 certification process. HPTi will teach co-op scholars how each phase of the HPTi Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) works together to create a complete development release. During each phase, from Requirements to Implementation, students will further define the needs of the user until a final product is created. Students will use technologies such as Java, XML, Hibernate, SQL, Cascading Style Sheets, etc. to transform current Excel spreadsheets into web applications. At the end of the semester, students will demonstrate their application to HPTi employees and executives for final sign-off.
Qualifications: Must be a student at least junior level, studying Computer Science or software development focused disciplines; Must demonstrate focus, capability and passion for software solution and innovation development. US Citizenship required
