- Dr. Mark Hartong, PhD in Information Technology, 2009. - Mr. Alireza Babaei, PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering - Jessica Paris, MS student in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering. The awards were presented at the school's Annual Award Gala on April 24, 2009, and were sponsored by Metro Aviation, Lockheed Martin MS2 Undersea Systems, and Aptis, respectively. SEOR ranked no. 31 by US News and World Report: Best Engineering Schools in Industrial & Manufacturing.
Through the efforts and competence of our Systems Engineering and Operations Research (SEOR) Department, our school is tied at position 31 (with Clemson, OSU, University of Oklahoma, and University of Minnesota) in the list of US News and World Report's Best Engineering Schools in the specialty of Industrial & Manufacturing.
