Ashraf M. AbuSharekh and Vinod Dubey win the SOA research paper competition.
The Volgenau School of Information Technology and Engineering student competition on Service Oriented Architecture research sponsored by the IBM Federal SOA Institute and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association has been completed. The first prize goes to Mr. Ashraf M. AbuSharekh, a PhD candidate in the ECE department advised by Prof. Alex Levis, and the second prize goes to Mr. Vinod K. Dubey, a student pursuing the PhD in Information Technology, advised by Prof. Daniel Menasce.

The awardees will receive a plaque and a check for $3,000 and $1,200, respectively.
The first awardee will be recognized also at an AFCEA awards ceremony in April.
