Merger of the CS and ISE departments
SCHEV approved the merger of our Computer Science and Information and Software Engineering departments. The merger became effective on January 1, 2008 and the new department is called Department of Computer Science. The first chair of the new department is Professor Hassan Gomaa.
Apply for travel funds to attend a conference
The Graduate Student Travel Fund was established to help George Mason University graduate students attend and participate in professional conferences pertaining to their field of study.
