The admission requirements are:
- Fulfill all admission requirements
for graduate study at George Mason University.
- Hold a 4-year 120-credit baccalaureate degree with
a satisfactory GPA.

Demonstrated programming experience in at least one block-structured
programming language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Visual Basic, Pascal) or
in a scripting language (e.g., Javascript) used in Web design.
This experience can be obtained either through courses and/or
work experience. Provide course descriptions and syllabi as well
as copies of transcripts and grades obtained.
If only work experience is available, submit
a statement describing your work experience in programming.
This should include: where you worked, the type of programs that
you were responsible for writing, years of experience in each job,
and programming languages used.
Submit with your application:
- Official transcripts of all post-secondary education;
- Self-Evaluation Form;
A brief (one- to two-page) statement of educational and work experience; Three letters of recommendation; Your resume;Official report of either the General Graduate Record
Examination (GRE), the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), or Law School Admissions
Test (LSAT). The requirements for these tests may be waived
if the candidate holds a graduate-level degree from a regionally
accreditted US higher education institution.
- TOEFL scores unless you are a native English speaker or have a higher education degree from Australia,
Canada, Ghana, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States.

Important: After you have submitted your application, send

indicating that you submitted your application and the date
it was submitted. This helps us track it through the
system.
The deadline for the Fall 2006 is February 15, 2006 for foreign
applicants on non-resident visas and April 15, 2006 for
domestic students and resident applicants.
The deadline for the Spring 2006 was October 1, 2005 for foreign
applicants on non-resident visas and November 1, 2005
for domestic students.
All applications submitted until the deadline will be
given full consideration. Others may still apply but
consideration may depend on availability of seats.
