Angelos Stavrou and Anup Ghosh receive over $3 million from IARPA

Prof. Angelos Stavrou, from our Department of Computer Science, and Dr. Anup Ghosh, Chief Scientist of our Center for Secure Information Systems (CSIS), received over $3 million from IARPA in the two following grants:

Principal Investigators: Angelos Stavrou and Anup Ghosh
Project Title: MINESTRONE
Total Award Amount: $2,127,209 Total Award Period: 04/01/2010 to 03/31/2014

Principal Investigators: Anup Ghosh and Angelos Stavrou
Project Title: ATHENA project
Total Award Amount: $957,795 Total Award Period: 12/01/09 to 05/31/2014

Prof. Siddhartha Sikdar receives an NSF CAREER award

Professor Siddhartha Sikdar of our Electrical and Computer Engineering department received a $400,000 NSF CAREER award for the project "An Integrated Systems Approach to Understanding Complex Muscle Disorders." The period of performance is May 1 , 2010 to April 30, 2015.

This is the tenth NSF CAREER award received by faculty in our school.
