Saunders, Davis, Gantz, Miller, and Helper receive $975K from the DOJ
Dr. Christopher Saunders (PI; Applied Information Technology department), Prof. Linda Davis (co-PI; Dept. of Statistics), Prof. Don Gantz (AIT), Prof. John Miller (Statistics) and Dr. Amanda Helper, received an award from the Department of Justice, in the amount of $974,981 for the project titled “Quantifying the Effects of Database Size and Sample Quality on Measures of Individualization Validity and Accuracy in Forensics." The period of performance is 03/01/2010 to 02/28/2013.

Professor Sushil Jajodia, director of the Center for Secure Information Systems (CSIS), received $814,037 (Mason total) for a 5-year MURI sponsored by the Army Research Office. The title of the project is "Computer-aided Human Centric Cyber Situation Awareness".
