AUDIENCE AND PREREQUISITES

This course is designed for individuals who want to acquire fundamental skills in developing web pages and websites for professional and personal use. People interested in taking this course shall be comfortable using computer applications like Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, using Internet and email.

OVERVIEW

This hands-on course will teach you to effectively plan, design, and troubleshoot websites. Industry professionals lead students through eight course modules including hands-on exercises and a class web design project. Students will gain a strong skill set and knowledge base in web design. Course curriculum includes XHTML, Web design and graphics, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop and an introduction to E-commerce.

All books and materials are included.
