The course is designed to prepare students in the exciting field of medical billing and coding. The healthcare industry is growing and there is tremendous demand for individuals who posses coding skills and understand billing and claims processing. A high school diploma or equivalent is a pre-requisite for entering the program. Students must be familiar with keyboarding and usage of Microsoft Office applications like Word.
This course provides strong theoretical and hands-on knowledge in medical coding and billing.
