Dean’s Scholarship Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Students

The Volgenau School of Information Technology and Engineering (VSIT&E) wishes to reward its students for the academic excellence that they have attained while a student in high school or a community college, as well as for both excellent academic performance and achievements while a student here at Mason.

High school or community college students entering The Volgenau School compete for awards ranging from $2,000-$4,000 per academic year. The scholarship is renewable for recipients who continue to distinguish themselves during the specific academic year of the award in scholarship and/or service while a student here in The Volgenau School.

Students of The Volgenau School compete for the Academic Excellence and/or Student Life/Service Award, which ranges from $2,000-$4,000 per academic year. The scholarship is renewable for recipients who continue to distinguish themselves during the specific academic year of the award in scholarship and/or service while a student here in The Volgenau School.

High school and community college students apply for the scholarship through the George Mason Scholarship Office. Current Mason students apply for the scholarship either through Mason’s Scholarship Office or by applying directly to The Volgenau School Student Services Office located in Engineering Building, Suite 2500. The application submission deadline is February 1 for prospective Mason students and June 26 for current Mason students.
