Technology Learning Competition

Competition Goal
To support student learning through student-student, student-faculty, student-community and company partnerships.

On April 11, 1996, the Senior Design Class of 1995/96, under the guidance of Dr. Peter Pachowicz, took first place in the Technology Learning Competition for their innovative web page: InSERT.

ENGR-107 - GMU Freshman Class

As part of its formal testing, InSERT was reviewed by freshmen in the ENGR-107 class. 75% of the ENGR-107 students thought that INSERT would help them evaluate systems engineering as a major and 90% thought it was easy and convenient to use. One student's comments are reproduced below:

"Great idea, I've mentioned this to other students at NOVA and MARYLAND, and they are mad that their campuses haven't started something similar."
