IT 441: Network Servers and Infrastructures

Covers IP networking concepts and practices for IPv6 addressing, DHCP and DNS in IPv6 networks, secure communication over VPNs, VoIP architecture, Virtual Computing, Cloud Computing, MPLS, traffic monitoring and network connectivity between operating systems. Students learn the latest technologies of IP networks and understand application-level services used in the Internet. Lab sessions focus on installation of applications on virtual servers. Notes: Term project.
