The duo garnered worldwide attention this spring for their sound wave fire extinguisher.
The invention uses low-frequency sound waves, think hip-hop bass, to douse flames.
They have a preliminary patent on their invention that began as a senior design project for a class at the Volgenau School of Engineering.
