Mason Engineering gears up for 2020 Undergraduate Research Celebration

The seventh annual Volgenau School of Engineering (VSE) Undergraduate Research Celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 21, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Dewberry Hall on the Fairfax Campus.

Cash prizes of $1,000 will be awarded for the most outstanding projects. Judging will be done by representatives from local companies. There will also be a special “People’s Choice Award” voted on by all attendees, also with a cash prize of $1,000.

Presenters of winning projects will be invited to participate in the university’s 2020 Celebration of Student Scholarship on May 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Fenwick Library, and their work will be displayed in the engineering building.

Only VSE students can present at the celebration, but the event is open to the entire university community.

The deadline to submit proposals for inclusion in the VSE Undergraduate Research Celebration is Friday, March 17. Please submit your proposals here.
