Professor, Computer Science
Amihai Motro is a professor in Computer Science at the Volgenau School of Engineering at George Mason University. His primary research and professional areas of interest include database management, information systems, information retrieval, information services and virtual experiences. Motro has authored many publications on subjects related to database exploitation including: intelligent information integration in virtual databases; cooperative user interfaces to databases; uncertainty, imprecision, incompleteness and inconsistency in databases; database knowledge – discovery and application; information quality, integrity, and security; and virtual enterprises. He joined the faculty at Mason in 1990.
