Biography
Pelin Kurtay earned her PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from George Mason University. She is the associate chair of the department and heads the undergraduate curriculum development efforts and other departmental initiatives. She is the recipient of the 2015 Teacher of Distinction Award at George Mason University for exceptional teaching and commitment to teaching-related activities in electrical and computer engineering and Information technology. She is a senior member of the IEEE.
