Jyh Ming Lien directs the Motion and Shape Computing (MASC) Group that is affiliated with the George Mason University Autonomous Robotics Laboratory at the Volgenau School of Engineering. The MASC Group research goal is to develop efficient, robust, and practical algorithms for representing, manipulating, and analyzing massive geometric data of shape and motion. The group’s research finds applications for computational geometry, computer graphics, geographic information systems (GIS), visualization, and robotics.
