Biography

Robert Latiff is a Research Professor and the Director of Volgenau’s Information Sciences and Technology Department Intelligence Programs. In addition to teaching in the classroom, Latiff provides research in support of U.S. intelligence agencies as well as development and presentation of academic programs designed for the U.S. intelligence community.

Before coming to GMU, Latiff taught at Notre Dame. He is a retired major general in the U.S. Air Force, and an expert on systems engineering and defense and intelligence issues. He is president at Rlatiff Associates, LLC and has served as vice president, chief engineer and technology officer at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). Robert Latiff's research interests focus on the intelligence community.
