About the Program
The Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security and Engineering (BS, CYSE) degree is concerned with the development of cyber resilient systems which include the protection of the physical as well as computer and network systems. It requires a proactive approach in the engineering design of physical systems with cybersecurity incorporated from the beginning of system development.
Our graduates will be uniquely positioned for high-demand careers protecting physical systems from cyberattacks. They find jobs in government, defense, transportation, telecommunications, or almost any field they choose. Local employers such as the Advanced Physics Laboratory of Johns Hopkins University and Northrop Grumman approach students for internships.
