Center for Advancing Human-Machine Partnerships kicks off Arlington Forward series

Professor of computer science Amarda Shehu, Associate Professor in the Sid and Reva Dewberry Department of Civil, Environmental, and Infrastructure Engineering Dave Lattanzi, and Brenda Bannan, associate professor from the College of Education and Human Development, will discuss what it means to work with intelligent machines in the 21st century at the kick-off event of the Arlington Forward series. “Two Kinds of Minds: Rethinking Human-Machine Partnerships" will explore our evolving relationship with autonomous systems and its profound implications for individuals, businesses, and society-at-large.

"Two Kinds of Minds: Rethinking Human-Machine Partnerships." - Hosted by Mason’s Center for Advancing Human-Machine Partnership (CAHMP), this event will convene experts and leaders from academia, industry, and government to create a dialogue about how we can ensure that advancements in AI research and policy benefit all sectors of our society. The event will be held at Van Metre Hall on the Arlington Campus. It is part of the larger event series with events throughout the year.
