Following a number of years of teaching for the Department of Computer Science as well as the Department of Health Administration and Policy's Health Informatics program, Ivan Avramovic is now a term instructor in Mason Engineering's Department of Computer Science. He has also reached the candidacy phase of his PhD, advised by Professor Dana Richards. Avramovic's research focuses on analysis of randomized algorithms, combinatorics, and information dissemination algorithms. Prior to this, he has completed an master's degree in Computer Science at Mason and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has also worked professionally on programming and simulation projects at companies such as SAIC.
